Information for the Collaborative Evaluation Process
The Scoring Guide for Student Products was created for
use by teams of evaluators in a collaborative evaluation process.
District personnel can be trained in this process, which uses the
Scoring Guide to evaluate student products and includes
actual documents from teachers and students. Teachers complete a
Teacher Lesson Profile that includes information about lesson plans,
teacher experiences with technology, and assessment strategies.
Students complete a Learning Profile that includes student's understanding
of the content as well as the use of technology. With these tools,
participants engage in a reflective dialogue that evaluates assessment,
student mastery of content and the use of technology, and the value
of technology to the product.
Contact Us
for trainings that may feature a combination of hands-on activities
and case study analysis with sample student work and a district's
own products. Training participants will receive access to the password-protected
Collaborative Evaluation Web Site and a full set of resources along with the Documents for the Facilitators.
