As of September 30, 2005, the North Central Regional Technology in Education Consortium is no longer in operation.
Students will recognize that materials can exist in different states: solid, liquid, and gas.
Students will be able to find examples of the states of matter found in the world around them.
Extension -- Students should only be expected to recognize that some materials, such as water, can be changed from one state to another by heating and cooling.
