4. Did attendance issues affect student progress on this project? Did students have to or want to fill in for one another?

The main problem about attendance is that it just takes longer for the project to be completed. When a student isn't there they might miss a part of the project, but when they come back they can join right in. And since we do meet as a group to discuss where we're at, people fill [in] people who have been absent. I think it would be a problem if somebody had dropped out at one point; then somebody would have had to take on that [person's] task. Because they're adult learners, attendance sometimes is problematic, but it didn't affect this project that much.
