The project is built in such a way that students can work individually, in groups, or in small teams. There is plenty of work for each of those kinds of areas. So really depending upon the personality of the student, they can start on the independent work, as Chico did, and move into some of the teamwork things, or stay on their own. It will get the job done either direction. But when they do see that there is some value in working together as a team and working cooperatively and getting the job done without having to do everything themselves, that is something that they've learned. That is a by-product of the project. And we also see some folks taking on the leadership in a small group like that and assigning tasks--not me--but students themselves. And if that's not management training, I don't know what is.
