3. Do you feel you could support all the activities and technology without tutors in the classroom?

Yes I do, although they certainly make life easier. If I have a class of 15 people, I've got 15 potential tutors sitting right next to whoever needs help. If I'm tied up with someone or some small group, and there is someone else sitting next to you that looks like they may have a clue, that's a win-win for both. So if you have the opportunity to have tutors in your classroom, that's wonderful. They are trained to be helpers and they have an idea about what curriculum ideas you're trying to pursue. They have a little bit of an idea about the technology that we have. But there's a lot to be said for that information and experience that the person sitting next to you brings with them and can offer to any problem situation. I can't be everything. Tutors can't be everything. But among a small group of us somebody's got some experience in it.
