4. How and when did you use technology at specific times and specific stations?

The kind of technologies that we used ran the gamut of very simple to more complex. The restaurant problem lends itself to a lot of independent decision making. If a person wanted to work on budgeting or payroll and wanted to use a calculator, they could do that on Tuesday. [Then] they could take the information that they worked up in a rough draft to the computers on Thursday and put something in a spreadsheet. The technology use was as individual as the student deciding what aspect of the problem they wanted to work at on a particular day. We don't have any set limitations on the technologies that they use, but we try and give an overview of the various opportunities for different technologies and then bring a person in where they feel comfortable. And, of course, try and lead them along to a little bit more complex level of technology.
