4. Did the group discuss how presentation software could be used for other purposes besides portfolios?

Dave: Absolutely, that was one of the key things. We didn't want them to think that this was just some fun thing we were teaching them for this [project]. We wanted them to learn how to use it in every day life. We talked about making resumes. We talked about how you could use this with your kids, at work, at home. We talked about how they could use this with their children, and interactive stories and cool things like that—things that they could take from here in this classroom activity and take to the workplace.
