1. How do your learners assess the quality of information available on the Internet?
In my experience it's really essential to teach learners or users of the Internet how to evaluate the information that they find there. And so learners in this program do find out how to look at a Web site and evaluate the author of the site, the publishing body of that site, and how current the information is, and then for what purpose was that information put up on the Web. We also, then, learn that there are certain sites that are really going to be sites that we can use and we can trust. And many of those are ones that are already chosen for us by electronic field trip publishers.
