4. What is the minimum reading or math level for this activity?

Most of the Passport to Knowledge electronic field trips and other such field trips are aimed at people who have generally a middle school reading level and math level, perhaps a little bit lower in the math level. Adults who have probably what might be termed a middle school reading level (even though we do not use reading level grade levels in adult literacy programs) would find that the electronic field trip materials are appropriate to them. Certainly the links to other Web sites in an electronic field trip will go to sites with much higher reading levels. The other thing that is of concern about some Web pages would be that they are very text dense and so they can be hard to read. However, the offsetting thing is there are so many wonderful visuals and other graphical information.
