2. How do you prepare students to use the technology?

Students who are new to computers or new to Internet-based resources need to feel comfortable in starting. The best way to learn how to use Internet-based resources is to just sit down and try it. And I think it is very important for students to be shown how to use a mouse and how to navigate around a Web site. It's important to build their confidence and to convince them that they are not going to cause explosions by sitting in front of a computer.
