5. How can a teacher learn more about electronic field trips and how to access them?

These days with more and more Web sites and use of Internet-based resources you can bet if there is an event occurring, there is going to be a Web site. So, for example, with the Ididerod dogsled race in Alaska or with the Winter Olympics- any event that one might read about, hear about on the radio or television- you could do a search on the Internet and I am sure that Web sites will be found. These might be more informal field trips, and in that case, then the instructor might need to develop some activities and lessons herself, although more and more Web sites do have suggestions for teachers and for learners.
