1. How would you teach this lesson with limited technology resources, i.e., one computer in the classroom?

It is great for instructors and learners each to have access to the Internet, Internet-based resources, and computers. However the reality in adult literacy programs, as we all know, is that the availability of appropriate technology is often nonexistent. I have used one computer- the computer that I had- and my own Internet account initially in doing some of these projects. Certainly, [for] doing further explorations, it's far better if learners can get on to the site themselves. The connection to the Internet doesn't have to be in the classroom either. A lot of materials can actually be discussed in a classroom setting or a one-on-one setting. Then the learner can go to either a lab or an Internet connection at a library and then come back to the classroom setting. It is really not essential, although preferable, to have that Internet connection right in the classroom.
