1. Did the students express an interest in learning how to create their own Web sites, and did any student pursue that skill on his or her own?

All we have time to get through in one semester is how to use the word processor and write stories. However, I do teach another class, which is called Computers and Writing, which is a more advanced writing class. And in that class some of them get to the point of creating a Web site. Some of them are interested in creating a Web site and some of them aren't. So I question them a little bit and find out if they want to do a Web site because it takes some time and it takes time off of their writing. And if they do, I let them make a Web site, and they post their writing on a Web site. But in the beginning level there is no time in one semester.
