15. How did the people on the listserv see the students' work?

The students—some of them sent messages to the people that they had used the memories of, explaining that they had published their story on the Web. Some of the students didn't publish their stories; they just sent a copy of it to the people that they had written about and thanked them for letting them use their memories for the story they had written. But basically it was generated by the students thanking them.
