4. How much access did your students have to computers?

At this time there was one in my classroom online and a dial-up connection. The computer in my classroom was turned on at the beginning of the day and wasn't turned off until I left at 5:00 at night. What I did was I had a list of my students' names and I set aside different time periods during the day that students had access to the computer and at that time they were to be back at the computer either dealing with their e-mail, doing research on the Web, working on typing up their project, or they may have been back there with another student working on another project. But it was a time when they had specific access to the computer that day.
