3. How would you adapt this lesson to a beginning-level class and cover the development of core language skills?

To adapt this lesson we would have to make the topic simpler and shorter. It would probably need to be more personally based. As far as the development of core language skills, because this kind of activity integrally integrates skills, that will be covered. So I think that comes sort of de facto. If we adapt the lesson to make it more personally based, to show one thing, to make it simpler, and to talk about it, a beginning-level class can handle this.
