1. What computer/Internet skills do you think a teacher needs in order to do this lesson?

I think that the most important thing is that the teacher feel comfortable and enthusiastic about using computers. If you feel anxious, it's going to communicate itself to the students and then they're going to feel anxious. You don't have to be an Internet expert in order to do this lesson. I certainly am not and I'm learning new things every day. But I manage somehow to show people that you don't have to know everything and you can still begin to use it. I think that is probably more important. Certainly you have to have some basics like how you get in and how you use one or two search engines at least in the most basic way so that you can demonstrate [it to the students] a little bit. I think you need to be comfortable with a certain amount of basic word processing skills so that you can, again, demonstrate those a little bit to the students. But I think it's your attitude much more than your specific skills that is the most important.
