1. Can you assess the impact a student's computer use has on increased literacy skills?

I can see the tremendous gain in writing my students make throughout the semester. However, they're doing so many different kinds of reading and writing skills, I don't know how much has to do specifically with the computer use. I know that the computers fascinate them and I know that you tend to get involved with what fascinates you. So I suspect it plays a part but how much, I don't know.
