1. Could you see some extensions for this project? If so, what would they be?

When we worked on this project we were looking at this as being a base type of project where the kids would be exposed to a number of different things and then we could move on to a more specific project and narrow in on a specific city. In this case we did go to the next step, and that was to look at Waukegan and to decide if it had the necessary components to be a tourist area. Since the kids had already gone to different areas and looked at the different sites that large cities had, our students were able to look at Waukegan and decide what resources it might have to qualify it as a tourist area. That was the extension we were looking for. Once we did the large scope, we wanted to narrow it down to Waukegan and have them basically do a build-up on Waukegan as a tourist area.
