PROJECT MANAGEMENT

1. How do you organize computer time so that each student gets their fair share?

Well, what we did was we assigned the students jobs for each city. So, at one city someone was a computer tech, someone was the leader, someone was the materials gatherer, and someone was the writer. At each city the kids when they went to the next city they were given a different job. No one kid spent all the time on the computer. No one child spent the whole time being the leader. No one spent the whole time writing the journal. Everyone took turns doing each portion of the job. Those jobs were explained to the students before they even began the unit.
