12. What equipment is necessary to set up the system to participate in a project like this?

What we needed to do this project in the manner in which we did it was we had five computers—four 575's and one Quadra 660AV. The 660AV computer has a built-in modem. That is what you use to connect and talk to other computers over the phone line. We have a phone line in the classroom. We also have a 31-inch, large-screen monitor. Our 575's were all networked as far as the printer, and we also had a classroom printer that we were able to use.
