4. Is this project connected to a study or a concept, or
a bigger idea?
For us, we kind of looked at it from our perspective of social
studies. We don't do a unit of traveling in social studies. But
one of the things we do study in social studies is places, regions,
and cities. We felt that this particular project would fit in with
our curricular goals for our students. We designed the project.
It is not, per se, something that we have to do in social studies,
but we felt that it would fit in with our objectives in social studies.
