4. How much time each week are your students online?

During that time my kids were online anywhere from a half hour to an hour a day. We only have one computer that has access to the Internet. At that particular time we had Classroom Prodigy and also America Online. The kids were able to use Classroom Prodigy to research their restaurants and their hotels. Classroom Prodigy has a section called the Mobile Travel Guide online, and they were able to use that for information. I was able to have the students work on that in groups of two on their own. When we worked totally on America Online, I preferred to assist them, because America Online was a little freer environment, and I didn't want them to get lost anywhere. When they were on America Online on the World Wide Web, I would assist them. I would say each week they were probably on there about five hours for the total week.
