3. How much time did the students work on this activity?

They worked on it quite a bit. Basically, it was about an hour-and-a-half a day that they worked on it. Sometimes a little bit more. As kids finished whatever work they had in the classroom, they were free to go ahead and research more on what they were doing. If they were finished with their math early, then they could work on their travel poster. I would say approximately an hour-and-a-half a day.
