3. How did you accommodate different learning styles?

We looked at that when we were creating the unit, and we were hoping that by using the computer, by having the kids draw as well as write, that we could cut across a few learning styles. We know that everyone doesn't learn everything by just seeing it. Some people have to hear it. Some people have to touch it. We thought that, if we gave them a writing component and an artistic component and plus using the computer to gather information, the kids would have an opportunity to learn in a number of different ways. We realize that you can't always get every learning style, but we were hoping that we could cut across a few that everyone would gather something or gain something from experience.
