3. How do you learn about and access other live transmissions that might be appropriate for your classroom?
In finding any information on the Web, particularly in this case finding out about other live transmissions, I like to go to sources that I have already evaluated and that I know are really very good. I strongly recommend anything from NASA or from the National Science Foundation. Also those that are listed on the PBS literacy site or the general PBS site. So I try to keep abreast of things by checking those particular educational sites. I now am on a number of electronic mailing lists as well, so I know when the next Passport to Knowledge things are going to be coming along. The electronic field trips I am talking about have been produced by Passport to Knowledge, supported by NASA and the National Science Foundation.
