2. What skills are being developed as a result of this activity?

As a result of this activity, learners have been able to practice their skills in oral and written communication, mainly writing those letters. Also discussing in small groups the kinds of things that they would do when given a survival situation. They had to discuss and come to a consensus in a group, so I guess I would say problem solving. And then we used a lot of mathematics as well.
