1. Do you think technology affects a learner's motivation?

I think technology affects a learner's motivation significantly. I think that the use of technology incorporated into a program such as this one increases recruitment and retention of students. It's a very adult thing to do to use a computer. It is something that the students in a program such as this one realize they are going to have to be able to do on the job and to be effective parents because they know their kids are already learning all about using Internet-based resources. When learners use Internet-based resources they forget they're practicing some basic skills and get so caught up in the subject at hand.
